About Terrastation

Curiosity into stewardship

Software designed for citizen scientists and the next generation of Earth stewards.

Meet the founder

Bob MacNeal

Founder, Citizen Scientist & Builder

Former geo-engineer and committed software developer. For thirty years, I built applications across healthcare, finance, science, and education. But it started differently: my first job as an environmental consultant was modeling groundwater contamination for environmental litigation. I built computer simulations because I was intent on understanding all aspects of geosciences.

That draw to studying and predicting earth-related phenomena never left me. Neither did the question: how do we help the next generation understand the systems that will sustain us?

The mission matters. For me, the future is about making a measurable impact that goes far beyond the ledger.

Now I'm combining what I know. Terrastation is purpose-built software — designed to turn observable phenomena into citizen science, and curiosity into stewardship. I'm an intentional solo‑preneur, building my dream job to prove that good science education and sustainable business can serve The Common Good.
